Lift the low end of the track
StudioWavePro’s Bass Boost adds warmth and weight to a track using a low-shelf filter — the same building block hardware bass controls use. Two controls do all the work: Boost (0 to +15 dB) sets how much louder the low end gets, and Crossover (60–400 Hz) sets the frequency below which the boost applies. Press play and drag either slider while listening; the filter updates live, so finding the sweet spot takes seconds.
The default 150 Hz crossover is the classic bass-shelf setting that fattens kick drums and bass guitar without muddying vocals. Drop the crossover toward 60–80 Hz to target only the deep sub-bass (great for electronic music on good headphones), or push it toward 300–400 Hz for a warmer, fuller overall tone on thin-sounding recordings.
