Lift the high end of the track
StudioWavePro’s Treble Boost adds clarity, crispness and "air" using a high-shelf filter — the same curve behind every treble knob ever made. Boost (0 to +15 dB) sets the amount of lift; Crossover (2–12 kHz) sets the frequency above which it applies. The default 4 kHz shelf brightens the zone where speech consonants and instrument definition live, which is why dull recordings snap into focus with just a few dB here.
Adjust everything live: press play, drag the sliders, and the filter follows in real time. Move the crossover up toward 8–10 kHz to add only sparkle and air without touching the potentially harsh 3–5 kHz region — the trick for brightening a track that’s already a little edgy.
