Ramp volume at the start or end
StudioWavePro’s Fade tool ends abrupt starts and stops. Choose Fade in, Fade out, or Fade both, set a duration between 0.1 and 10 seconds, and the volume ramps smoothly from (or to) silence. The preview is smart about context: it plays just the affected end of the track — with a second and a half of the surrounding audio — so you judge the actual transition instead of re-listening to the whole file.
Fades are the single cheapest way to make edited audio sound finished. A half-second fade-in removes the click or breath at the start of a voice take; a three-second fade-out ends a song gracefully where a hard cut would feel broken. The tool keeps the duration sensible automatically — it can never exceed half the track length, so fade-in and fade-out can’t collide on short clips.
