StudioWavePro’s Reverb places your recording in a simulated acoustic space using convolution — the technique studios use to capture how rooms actually respond to sound. Seven presets cover the spaces people actually reach for: Small Room, Medium Room and Large Room for natural ambience; Bathroom for the bright, tiled slap; Vocal Plate for the smooth polish on singing and speech; and Church Hall and Cathedral for long, blooming decays up to four seconds.

The Mix slider blends the dry source against the reverberated signal with an equal-power curve, and it works live during preview — press play, sweep the slider, and park it where the space sounds right. When you apply, the output file is automatically extended by the tail length, so a final chord in the Cathedral preset decays naturally instead of being cut off at the original end of the file.

Press "Play preview" and drag the Mix slider live — 20–40% adds space while keeping the source upfront.

Tips

Less is more: at 20–30% mix listeners feel the space without noticing the effect. Past 60% the room becomes the sound.
Speech stays intelligible with short spaces (Small Room, Vocal Plate). Long halls blur consonants quickly — save Cathedral for music and effects.
The slowed + reverb recipe: Speed tool at 0.8× in "Change pitch" mode first, then Reverb with Large Room or Church Hall at ~40% mix.
For reversed-reverb intros: apply a big reverb, run Reverse, and the tail becomes a swell that builds into each sound.
Reverb adds energy; if the result peaks too hot, run Normalize afterwards.
Reverb is permanent once exported — keep your dry original (or use Undo) if you might want to re-balance later.
